+TED API
Search EU public tenders on TED and pull full notices with lots, values and winners as JSON.
The API.SH TED API covers Tenders Electronic Daily, the EU's official journal for public procurement. Search notices by full text, buyer country, CPV code, notice type, contract nature, procedure, buyer, publication dates and tender deadline. Then open one notice for its lots, estimated and awarded values, award criteria with weighting, framework details, EU funding, the buyer's public contact details and the winners. This is the EU tenders TED, not TED Talks.

API.SH vs the official TED API
TED has an official, free API run by the EU Publications Office, with a public Search API that uses TED's expert query syntax and API keys for submitting eForms notices. API.SH wraps public TED data in simple filters (country, CPV, deadline) and returns flat JSON in the same shape as its other registries, with no query language to learn.
Apify lists many TED scrapers with different outputs; API.SH gives you one maintained search and notice endpoint, one key and a fixed price per call.
TED API questions
What TED data can I get?+
Notice search with full text, country, CPV, notice type, contract nature, procedure, buyer, date and deadline filters (/ted/v1/search), and one full notice with lots, values, award criteria, EU funding, buyer contacts and winners (/ted/v1/notice).
How much does the TED API cost?+
Every TED endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /ted/v1/notice at 1 credit each.
Is there an official TED API?+
Yes. The EU Publications Office runs the TED API with a free Search API documented at docs.ted.europa.eu. Use it if you are comfortable with its expert query syntax; API.SH is for teams that want plain filters and ready-to-use JSON next to their other data sources.
Do I need a TED account or API key?+
Not a TED one. You only need your API.SH key. API.SH reads public TED notices and no endpoint uses a TED login.
How do I search by CPV code?+
Pass cpv to /ted/v1/search. A shorter code matches the whole branch, so cpv=48 returns every notice in the software packages and information systems branch. Combine it with country, notice_type, deadline_from and deadline_to.
Is this the TED Talks API?+
No. This TED is Tenders Electronic Daily, the EU public procurement journal. It returns tender and contract award notices, not talks.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /ted/v1/search with q=software and country=DE. Docs and request examples are at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
