+Vrbo API
Search Vrbo vacation rentals and pull property details, prices and availability calendars as JSON.
The API.SH Vrbo API turns public Vrbo pages into structured JSON. Search a destination with dates, guests, price range and Vrbo's own filters for amenities, property type and free cancellation, then open a property for its rooms, beds, amenities, house rules, host and neighborhood, a year-ahead availability calendar with nightly prices and minimum stays, and with dates the full price of a stay including taxes and fees.
- 2 endpoints
- from $1 / 1,000 calls
- 1,000 free credits / month
- failed calls free

API.SH vs the official Vrbo API
Vrbo's API is for property management software and connectivity partners, who request access through Vrbo Integration Central to manage their own listings, rates and bookings; Vrbo inventory is also distributed to approved partners through Expedia Group. There is no open API for searching listings. API.SH returns public Vrbo search, property and calendar data with no partner approval.
Instead of maintaining a Vrbo scraper from GitHub or comparing Apify actors, call one documented API with a fixed price per call and blocks and retries handled for you.
Vrbo API questions
What Vrbo data can I get?+
Destination search with prices, ratings, bedrooms and filters (/vrbo/v1/search), and one property with amenities, rooms, house rules, host, neighborhood, the availability calendar and, with dates, a priced stay quote (/vrbo/v1/property).
How much does the Vrbo API cost?+
Every Vrbo endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /vrbo/v1/property at 1 credit each.
Is there an official Vrbo API?+
Only for partners. Property management systems and channel managers connect through Vrbo Integration Central to manage their own listings and bookings. There is no public Vrbo API for search or listing data.
Do I need a Vrbo account or owner login?+
No. API.SH reads public Vrbo pages only. No endpoint uses a login, cookies or an owner account, and it cannot change listings or make bookings.
Can I look up a Vrbo property by ID?+
Yes. Pass the property id to /vrbo/v1/property. Search results include each property's id and listing number, so you can search first and then open the ones you want.
Does it show Vrbo availability and fees?+
Yes. The property endpoint returns a calendar for the coming year with availability, average nightly price, check-in and check-out days and stay limits. Add check_in and check_out to get the total with base rate, taxes and fees.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /vrbo/v1/search with a destination and dates. Request examples and every parameter are in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
