How much does the Resident Advisor API cost?+

Every Resident Advisor endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.

Is there a free Resident Advisor API?+

Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /ra/v1/areas at 1 credit each.

Is there an official Resident Advisor API?+

Not a public one. RA does not issue API keys for its event data. API.SH reads the public ra.co pages and returns them as JSON.

Do I need an RA account or login?+

No. API.SH reads public Resident Advisor pages only. No endpoint uses a login, cookies or anyone's account.

How do I find events in a city?+

Look up the area with /ra/v1/areas (for example q=berlin), then pass it to /ra/v1/events with date_from, date_to and an optional genre. Results include total, genre counts and next_page for paging.

Can I use the Resident Advisor API from Python?+

Yes. Call it over HTTPS with your key or use the API.SH Python SDK. Responses are JSON, with CSV and NDJSON also available.
