API.SH vs the official USAJOBS API

Yes. USAJOBS offers a free official API through its developer portal: you request an API key with your email and send it with your registered email in request headers. API.SH needs no key request or special headers, returns full announcement sections as HTML and text, and uses the same JSON format as its other job sites.

Instead of maintaining a USAJOBS scraper or an Apify actor, use one API.SH key for USAJOBS and other job boards, with fixed per-call pricing.

Every USAJOBS endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
