API.SH vs the official Ryanair API
Ryanair does not publish a public developer API for fares, according to Google's AI overview, and its terms restrict screen scraping, so people use unofficial endpoints. Many searches for Ryanair API mean Advance Passenger Information, which is a passport form for your booking, not a developer API.
Instead of reverse-engineering Ryanair's website calls, running a fare scraper or using a RapidAPI listing, you get one key and a fixed price per call, and you can read fares for any airport, not only the ones you built for.
Ryanair API questions
What Ryanair data can I get?+
Cheapest fares from an airport to every destination (/ryanair/v1/cheapest), the lowest fare per day on a route (/ryanair/v1/fares), destinations from an airport (/ryanair/v1/routes) and the airport list (/ryanair/v1/airports). These are fares and network data, not bookings.
How much does the Ryanair API cost?+
Every Ryanair endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /ryanair/v1/airports at 1 credit each.
Is there an official Ryanair API?+
Not a public one for fares, as far as search results show. The AI overview says Ryanair has no public or official developer API for booking or reservations. Unofficial endpoints, wrappers and scrapers circulate on GitHub and Postman. API.SH is unofficial and read-only.
Do I need a Ryanair account or login?+
No. API.SH reads public Ryanair fare and network data only. No endpoint uses a login, cookies or anyone's account, and it cannot book or change a booking.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /ryanair/v1/cheapest with from set to an airport code and a date range. Request examples and every parameter are in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
Is Ryanair's API the same as Advance Passenger Information?+
No. In Ryanair searches, API often means Advance Passenger Information, the passport details you give for a booking. That is a form on your booking and has nothing to do with this fare and route data API.
Is scraping Ryanair legal?+
API.SH reads only data that Ryanair shows publicly, with no login. Whether your use is allowed also depends on the site's terms and the laws where you are, including privacy rules for any personal data, so check both before you build on it. This is general information, not legal advice.
