+Luma API
Upcoming lu.ma events by city or category, organizer calendars and event pages as JSON.
The API.SH Luma API returns public data from Luma (lu.ma), the event and ticketing platform. List upcoming events in a discover city or around a map point, optionally by category, read an organizer's calendar of upcoming or past events, and open any event by link or id. Events include start and end times, place, price range, sold-out flag, spots left, waitlist, guest count and hosts.

Why API.SH for Luma data
- Public data only: no Luma login, cookies or account needed
- One key and one response shape for Luma and 481 other platforms
- Built and maintained by API.SH, not third-party publishers
- Pay per call; errors on our side cost nothing
- Live status for every endpoint
API.SH vs the official Luma API
Luma's own API is meant for hosts managing their own calendars and events with a key from their Luma account; it is not for browsing other organizers' public events. API.SH returns public lu.ma events, calendars and cities as JSON with no Luma account. This page is about the Luma events platform, not the Luma AI video model.
Instead of comparing Luma event scrapers on Apify or reverse-engineering lu.ma pages yourself, use one API.SH key with a fixed price per call.
Luma API questions
What Luma data can I get?+
Discover cities and event categories (/luma/v1/discover), upcoming events near a place or in a category (/luma/v1/events), an organizer's calendar with its upcoming or past events (/luma/v1/calendar) and one event by link or id (/luma/v1/event).
How much does the Luma API cost?+
Every Luma endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /luma/v1/calendar at 1 credit each.
Is there an official Luma API?+
Luma offers an API for hosts to manage their own calendars and events. To read public events from any organizer or city without a Luma account, use API.SH.
Do I need a Luma account or login?+
No. API.SH reads public lu.ma pages only. No endpoint uses a login, cookies or anyone's account, and it does not register for events.
Can I get Luma attendee lists?+
No. Guest lists are not returned. You get the guest count, spots left, waitlist and hosts for each event.
Which cities are covered?+
Every city on Luma's discover page. Call /luma/v1/discover for the list with event counts, then pass a city slug as place to /luma/v1/events, or give latitude and longitude for any map point.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /luma/v1/events with place set to a city such as sf. Every parameter is in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
