The API.SH Fotocasa API returns public listings from Fotocasa.es, the Spanish real estate portal, as structured JSON. Search homes and other property anywhere in Spain to buy, rent, share or rent-to-buy, with the site's filters for place, price, rooms, bathrooms, area, condition, new build and features such as pool, terrace, lift and parking. Open a listing for its price drop, every feature, energy certificate, coordinates and photos, list one agency's listings, and resolve place names to location ids.

API.SH vs the official Fotocasa API
Fotocasa's APIs are for professionals: a legacy SOAP web service and the Fotocasa Pro API key that agencies and CRMs use to publish listings. Neither is a public API for reading market data; API.SH returns public listings as JSON with no account.
Skip maintaining a Python or Selenium scraper for Fotocasa or running an Apify actor: API.SH gives you the site's own filters, one key and a fixed price per call, and blocks and retries are handled for you.
Fotocasa API questions
What Fotocasa data can I get?+
Property search across Spain with the site's filters (/fotocasa/v1/search), one listing with every feature, energy rating, coordinates and photos (/fotocasa/v1/listing), an agency's listings (/fotocasa/v1/agency) and place suggestions with location ids (/fotocasa/v1/places).
How much does the Fotocasa API cost?+
Every Fotocasa endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /fotocasa/v1/agency at 1 credit each.
Is there an official Fotocasa API?+
Only for professionals. Fotocasa offers a web service and a Fotocasa Pro API key so agencies and CRMs can publish their listings. It is not meant for reading market data, which is what API.SH does from public pages.
Do I need a Fotocasa account or login?+
No. API.SH reads public Fotocasa pages only. A private seller's phone number is left out.
Can I scrape Fotocasa with Python?+
You don't need to: call this API from Python with any HTTP library or the API.SH Python SDK and get JSON back. Scraping public listings should follow Fotocasa's terms and Spanish and EU law, especially for personal data.
Can I search by city or neighborhood?+
Yes. Pass a place name as location, or look it up first with /fotocasa/v1/places to get the exact location_id for a city, district or neighborhood.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /fotocasa/v1/search with location set to a Spanish city and operation set to buy or rent. Request examples and every parameter are in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
