A series on The Movie Database by id or link: name, first-air year, tagline, overview, user score, votes, certification, genres, poster and backdrop, creators, top cast with episode counts, keywords, links, status, type, original language, networks and the current season (rating, year, episodes, overview), number of episodes, first and last air dates, the headline where-to-watch offer (streaming), the featured video, media counts and the featured user review. Opt in with include for more, each one more page read: seasons (every season with number, name, year, episode count, rating, overview, poster and link), recommendations, watch_providers (every stream, rent and buy offer in region) and videos (trailers).

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
id string TMDB series id, e.g. 1396 (Breaking Bad). Example: 1396
url string Or a themoviedb.org/tv/... link.
language string Page language (default en-US), e.g. de-DE, fr-FR, es-ES.

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/tmdb/v1/tv?id=1396" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
