Is there a free XING API?+

Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /xing/v1/company at 1 credit each.

Is there an official XING API?+

Not an open one for reading jobs or profiles. XING's developer site offers sharing tools, and its job API is for posting ads. API.SH is an independent way to read public XING jobs and company pages as JSON.

Do I need a XING account or login?+

No. API.SH reads public XING pages only. No endpoint uses a login or anyone's account, and it does not return member profiles.

Is XING similar to LinkedIn?+

Yes. XING is a professional network and job board, focused on Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The API.SH XING API covers its public job ads and company pages in those countries.

Does it include salaries?+

Yes. /xing/v1/search returns salary with currency, minimum, maximum and median, using XING's own estimate when the ad does not state one. You can also filter by salary_min.
