Skool API

Skool's public community directory and about pages as JSON: members, price, rating and category.

The API.SH Skool API turns Skool's public pages into structured JSON. Search the community directory by keyword, category, free or paid type and language, then open a community's about page for its description, member counts, admins, post count, price, rating and reviews. Posts and classrooms inside a community need membership and are not included.

API.SH vs the official Skool API

Skool has no documented public developer API according to the search results. Its official integration is a Zapier plugin that uses a group API key for community owners, and most other options are community-built tools. API.SH reads the public directory and about pages without a key from Skool.

Compared with running a Skool scraper from Apify or GitHub, API.SH gives you one key, one JSON shape and a fixed price per call for public directory and about-page data.

Skool API questions

What Skool data can I get?+

Directory search (/skool/v1/search) and a community's public about page (/skool/v1/community): name, description, members, members online, admins, post count, privacy, price, rating, reviews and links.

How much does the Skool API cost?+

Every Skool endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.

Is there a free trial?+

Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /skool/v1/community at 1 credit each.

Is there an official Skool API?+

Skool has no documented public developer API. The official route is a Zapier plugin using a group API key, which is for community owners. API.SH is separate and reads public Skool pages only.

Do I need a Skool account or login?+

No. API.SH reads public Skool pages only. No endpoint uses a login, cookies or anyone's account.

Can I get posts, members, comments or classroom videos?+

No. Posts and classrooms inside a community need membership, so they are not included. You get the public about page and the directory listing, and API.SH has no write actions such as posting.

How does pagination work?+

Directory search returns 30 communities a page. Pass next_page back as page; it is null on the last page. The directory lists up to 1,000 results for a query, and total shows its count.

How do I get started?+

1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /skool/v1/search with q set to a topic, then /skool/v1/community with a result's slug. Request examples and every parameter are in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
