+Motorsport API
NASCAR, MotoGP and IndyCar schedules, race results, standings and driver stats as clean JSON.
The API.SH Motorsport API covers NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Truck, MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, and IndyCar. Get each series' season schedule, race results, championship standings and drivers. MotoGP data goes back to 2002, with rider profiles that include career wins, podiums, poles and points by season. NASCAR driver stats cover the current season: points, starts, wins, poles, top 5s and 10s, laps led, stage wins and DNFs. IndyCar results can include grid position, team, engine, laps led, pit stops and fastest lap where published. Formula 1 has its own API.SH page.

API.SH vs the official Motorsport API
There is no single free official motorsport API. Sportradar, NASCAR's official data partner, and Sportmonks sell racing data feeds on contracts or plans, and free open-source projects such as OpenF1 and Jolpica cover Formula 1 only. API.SH gives you NASCAR, MotoGP and IndyCar schedules, results, standings and drivers with one key and pay-per-call pricing.
Building scrapers for three series' websites means three formats to maintain, and enterprise feeds are priced for media companies. API.SH returns all three series in one JSON shape for a fixed price per call.
Motorsport API questions
What motorsport data can I get?+
Season schedules (/motorsport/v1/schedule), race results with optional IndyCar details (/motorsport/v1/results), MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and IndyCar championship standings (/motorsport/v1/standings) and drivers and riders with season stats and MotoGP rider profiles (/motorsport/v1/drivers).
How much does the Motorsport API cost?+
Every Motorsport endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free motorsport API?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /motorsport/v1/drivers at 1 credit each. Free open-source APIs exist for Formula 1, but NASCAR, MotoGP and IndyCar data is usually sold by commercial feeds.
Where does the data come from?+
From the public results, standings and schedule information each series publishes for NASCAR, MotoGP and IndyCar.
Do I need keys for the underlying sources?+
No. One API.SH key covers every motorsport route.
Which series and seasons are covered?+
NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Truck (current season driver stats), MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 (back to 2002) and IndyCar. Formula 1 is on its own API.SH page. NASCAR points positions are in each race's results rather than a standings table.
Is there a NASCAR API?+
NASCAR's official data is licensed through Sportradar. API.SH offers NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Truck schedules, race results and current-season driver stats from public pages with a single key.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /motorsport/v1/standings with series=motogp, or /motorsport/v1/schedule with series=nascar-cup. Request examples and every parameter are in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
