+Internshala API
Search Internshala internships and jobs in India and get stipends, skills and full postings as JSON.
The API.SH Internshala API turns public Internshala pages into structured JSON. Search internships or fresher jobs in India by skill, role or category, city or work from home, with filters for minimum stipend or salary, duration, start date, part time, job offer after the internship and early-applicant openings. Then open any posting for its full description, skills, who can apply, perks, openings, applicants and the company profile. Pay comes back structured with minimum, maximum and period.

API.SH vs the official Internshala API
Internshala does not publish a public API or API keys for reading internships and jobs; the search results show only community scrapers on GitHub and Kaggle, Apify actors and third-party API sellers. API.SH gives you documented endpoints over the public listings with no Internshala account.
GitHub Internshala scrapers break when the site changes and Apify actors bill per run: API.SH gives you one key, a stable JSON shape and a fixed price per call.
Internshala API questions
What Internshala data can I get?+
Internship and job search results with stipend or salary, duration, experience, skills, labels and company (/internshala/v1/search), and one full posting with description, skills, who can apply, perks, openings, applicants, dates and company details (/internshala/v1/detail).
How much does the Internshala API cost?+
Every Internshala endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /internshala/v1/detail at 1 credit each.
Is there an official Internshala API key or documentation?+
No. Internshala does not offer a public developer API or API keys. API.SH's Internshala endpoints are documented at https://api.sh/docs and work with your API.SH key.
Do I need an Internshala account or login?+
No. API.SH reads public Internshala pages only. No endpoint logs in, applies to postings or touches anyone's profile.
Can I filter internships by minimum stipend?+
Yes. Pass stipend_min for internships or salary_min for jobs, plus duration, start_date, part_time, ppo (job offer after the internship), women_only and early_applicant. Each result also has pay_min, pay_max and pay_period so you can sort or filter further yourself.
Can I use it from Python instead of a GitHub scraper?+
Yes. It is a plain HTTPS API that returns JSON, so any language works, and there is a Python SDK. Paging is handled by passing next_page back as page.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /internshala/v1/search with q set to a skill such as python and location set to a city or work_from_home=true. Request examples and every parameter are in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
