A business's menu on Yelp: sections with each dish's name, description, price (text and number, plus size/option prices when the menu lists several), the number of reviews and photos that mention it, its photo and Yelp link. popular_dishes ranks the dishes by those review and photo counts (top 10). Restaurants with several menus list them in other_menus; pass a menu's last path segment as menu. Businesses without a menu on Yelp answer 404.
Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.
Parameters
name
type
description
id
string
Business alias (the part after /biz/ or /menu/ in a Yelp link) or Yelp business id. Example: katzs-delicatessen-new-york
url
string
A yelp.com/biz/ or /menu/ link, instead of id.
menu
string
A sub-menu name from other_menus (e.g. dinner, brunch); default the main menu.
import os, requests
res = requests.get(
"https://api.api.sh/yelp/v1/menu",
params={"id": "katzs-delicatessen-new-york"},
headers={"x-api-key": os.environ["APISH_KEY"]},
timeout=120,
)
res.raise_for_status()
data = res.json()
const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/yelp/v1/menu");
url.searchParams.set("id", "katzs-delicatessen-new-york");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`${res.status} ${await res.text()}`);
const data = await res.json();
Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
