A fighter's profile: division, record, tags (rank, title holder, status), bio (age, height, weight, reach, leg reach, place of birth, team, style, Octagon debut), highlights (win streak, wins by KO/submission, first-round finishes), career stats (significant strikes landed/attempted, per minute, absorbed, defense, takedowns and accuracy, submission average, knockdown average, average fight time), significant strikes by position and target, win methods and latest fights (opponent, result, round, time, method, event and fight id). The fight history comes 3 fights a page, newest first: pass fights_next_page back as fights_page for older fights (null on the last page).

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
slugrequired string Athlete slug from ufc.com, events or rankings (e.g. islam-makhachev, alex-pereira). Example: islam-makhachev
fights_page integer Page of the fight history, 1-30 (3 fights a page; default 1). Pass fights_next_page here.

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/ufc/v1/athlete?slug=islam-makhachev" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
