TVmaze search

Search TV and streaming shows (or people) by name, best match first: score, id, name, type, language, genres, status, runtime, premiere and end dates, official site, schedule, rating, network or streaming service, IMDb and TheTVDB ids, image and summary. People results have id, name, country, birthday, gender and image. Data from TVmaze (CC BY-SA 4.0): attribution to tvmaze.com is required when you republish it.

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
