Form 4 insider transactions of a company, or of one insider by their CIK: transaction date, insider name and CIK, role and officer title, director / officer / 10% owner flags, security, transaction code and its meaning (P purchase, S sale, A award, M exercise, F tax withholding, G gift), shares, price, value, acquired or disposed, shares owned after, direct or indirect ownership, 10b5-1 plan flag, derivative terms, footnotes and links. Newest filings first, 20 filings per page; pass next_cursor back as cursor; null on the last page.

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
ticker string Company ticker (or send cik). Example: AAPL
cik string Company or insider CIK.
code string Only these transaction codes, comma-separated (P, S, A, M, F, G, ...). Example: S
start string Filed on/after (YYYY-MM-DD). Example: 2024-01-01
end string Filed on/before (YYYY-MM-DD).

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/sec-edgar/v1/insider?ticker=AAPL" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
