Remote OK job details
One remote job on Remote OK: id, title, company with its Remote OK page and logo, location, applicant locations, location type, employment type, work hours, category, industry, tags, salary range with currency and period, posting time, valid-through date, full description (text and HTML), job link and apply link. Pass id or url, or q, tag and/or location to open the newest current job that matches. Remote OK asks that you link back to the job's url and name Remote OK as the source.
Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.
Parameters
| name | type | description |
|---|---|---|
id | string | Remote OK job id (the number at the end of a job link, or id from /remoteok/v1/jobs). |
url | string | A remoteok.com/remote-jobs/<slug> job link. |
q | string | Without id or url: open the newest current job whose title, company, tags or description contain this text. Example: engineer |
tag | string | Without id or url: look among jobs with this tag, e.g. python, design, marketing. |
location | string | Without id or url: only jobs whose location contains this text (e.g. europe, usa). |
Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).
Example
curl "https://api.api.sh/remoteok/v1/job" \
-H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY" import os, requests
res = requests.get(
"https://api.api.sh/remoteok/v1/job",
params={},
headers={"x-api-key": os.environ["APISH_KEY"]},
timeout=120,
)
res.raise_for_status()
data = res.json() const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/remoteok/v1/job");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`${res.status} ${await res.text()}`);
const data = await res.json(); Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
