PyPI download statistics

GET https://api.api.sh/pypi/v1/stats
1 credit / call reference try it in the playground →

Download counts for a package: last day, week and month, plus the daily series (up to 180 days) overall or broken down by Python version or operating system.

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
namerequired string Package name, or a pypi.org project URL. Example: requests
kind string Daily series: overall (default), python_major, python_minor or system.
days integer Days of daily data to return, 1-180 (default 180). Example: 30
mirrors string true or false: include or exclude mirror downloads in the overall series (default both).

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/pypi/v1/stats?name=requests" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
