A server's public timeline, newest first: its own members' posts (local), every public post the server knows (federated), or only posts from other servers (remote), optionally only posts with media. Each post as in the other timelines: text and HTML, author, counts, media, link card, poll, mentions and hashtags. Some servers keep their timelines for signed-in members; those answer 403. Pass next_cursor back as cursor; null on the last page.
Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

local | federated | remote
local (default): this server's own posts; federated: all public posts the server knows; remote: posts from other servers only.
import os, requests

"https://api.api.sh/mastodon/v1/timeline",

const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/mastodon/v1/timeline");
url.searchParams.set("instance", "hachyderm.io");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });

const data = await res.json();
Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
