LinkedIn company search (LinkedIn index)

Companies, schools and showcase pages matching a name in LinkedIn's own organization index, in LinkedIn's order, 20 a page: the LinkedIn company id, the name and a link to its jobs. The id works with /linkedin/v1/company/jobs (company_id). For page URLs, follower counts and industries use /linkedin/v1/search/companies. Pass next_start back as start; null on the last page (the index goes up to 1,000 matches). Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
qrequired string Company name or the start of one (also accepted as query, keywords or name). Example: stripe
start integer Offset (0, 20, 40...): pass next_start from the previous response. Default: 0

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/linkedin/v1/company/search?q=stripe" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

Example response (real call, trimmed: lists cut to 2 items, long text shortened, raw left out)

{"query": "apple","start": 0,"count": 20,"next_start": 20,"companies": [{"rank": 1,"company_id": "162479","name": "Apple","jobs_url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/search?f_C=162479"},{"rank": 2,"company_id": "126164","name": "APPLE TREE","jobs_url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/search?f_C=126164"},"… 18 more"],"cached": false,"credits_used": 1}
The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
