A trade seller's profile on Gumtree UK: name (when shown), years on Gumtree, rating with its 1-5 breakdown, feedback tags, recent reviews (rating, date, category, tags; reviewers' names are left out), all-time ad counts per category and the live ads with price, location, date, description, photos and attributes. Pass the seller's public id or one of its ad ids. Private sellers' profiles are not returned. Pass next_page back as page; null on the last page.
Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.
Parameters
name
type
description
id
string
Public seller id (the hex id in gumtree.com/profile/account/<id>). Either id or ad is required. Example: 58d009c0fe7a21f25cddf553559f2ae4
ad
string
One of the seller's ad ids or ad links, instead of id.
import os, requests
res = requests.get(
"https://api.api.sh/gumtree/v1/seller",
params={"id": "58d009c0fe7a21f25cddf553559f2ae4"},
headers={"x-api-key": os.environ["APISH_KEY"]},
timeout=120,
)
res.raise_for_status()
data = res.json()
const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/gumtree/v1/seller");
url.searchParams.set("id", "58d009c0fe7a21f25cddf553559f2ae4");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`${res.status} ${await res.text()}`);
const data = await res.json();
Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
