One grant opportunity: id, number, title, category, agency and parent agency, assistance listings, the synopsis and/or forecast (description, posting, close and archive dates, estimated dates and fiscal year for forecasts, estimated total funding, award ceiling and floor, expected number of awards, cost sharing, eligible applicants, funding instruments and categories, more-information link), documents and attachments, application packages, related opportunities and version-history counts. Names of agency contact persons, e-mails and phone numbers are left out. By id, by opportunity number, or the newest posted opportunity matching q.

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
id string Opportunity id (from /grants-gov/v1/search). Example: 103313
number string Funding opportunity number (instead of id).
q string Keywords: the newest posted opportunity matching them.

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/grants-gov/v1/opportunity?id=103313" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
