GoodFirms directory
Service providers listed in a GoodFirms directory (software, web, app, AI, marketing, design, IT and more), optionally by country, with the site's hourly-rate, team-size, client-type, service and industry filters and its sorts: name, profile and website links, logo, rating, review count, badges, hourly rate and price range, team size, founding year, location, description, AI tools used, the top review quote with the reviewer's role and why-choose-us points. Also returns the filter options (service and industry ids) and the country pages of the directory. Page with page.

res = requests.get(

params={"category": "directory/languages/top-software-development-companies"},

timeout=120,
)
res.raise_for_status()
data = res.json() const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/goodfirms/v1/directory");
url.searchParams.set("category", "directory/languages/top-software-development-companies");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`${res.status} ${await res.text()}`);
const data = await res.json(); Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
