LEI direct and ultimate parent

GET https://api.api.sh/gleif/v1/parent
1 credit / call government & registries try it in the playground →

An entity's direct and ultimate parent from the LEI register: parent LEI, legal name, country and entity status, with the relationship (type, status, relationship start and end, accounting periods, last update and the corroboration level, documents and reference). When no parent LEI is reported, the reporting exception (for example no known person or natural persons) is returned instead.

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
leirequired string The 20-character LEI. Example: KD3XUN7C6T14HNAYLU02

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/gleif/v1/parent?lei=KD3XUN7C6T14HNAYLU02" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
