Match facts also carry top scorers and the pre- and post-match reviews. Use sections to return only some parts; sections=commentary (only when named) adds the minute-by-minute text commentary with event type, minute, added time and players.
Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.
Parameters
name
type
description
match_idrequired
integer
FotMob match id (from /fotmob/v1/matches or fixtures; 4193901 = Arsenal v Everton, 19 May 2024). Example: 4193901
sections
string
Comma-separated subset: facts, stats, lineup, shotmap, momentum, player_stats, h2h, table (default: all of these), and commentary (only when named).
commentary_lang
string
Commentary language when the match has it (default en; e.g. de, en_gen, es_gen). commentary.available_languages lists them.
import os, requests
res = requests.get(
"https://api.api.sh/fotmob/v1/match",
params={"match_id": "4193901"},
headers={"x-api-key": os.environ["APISH_KEY"]},
timeout=120,
)
res.raise_for_status()
data = res.json()
const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/fotmob/v1/match");
url.searchParams.set("match_id", "4193901");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`${res.status} ${await res.text()}`);
const data = await res.json();
Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
