Docker Hub repository
One Docker Hub repository: name, namespace, link, pull command, type, description, official flag, status, stars, exact pull count, dates, storage size, categories, media and content types, tag count, the 10 latest tags (size, digest) and the overview (the repository's README, first 20,000 characters). With vulnerabilities=true, each latest tag also carries the vulnerability counts of its linux/amd64 image (critical, high, medium, low, unspecified, total), and vulnerabilities sums up the latest tag (or the newest tag); counts are null where the Hub shows none.
Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.
Parameters
| name | type | description |
|---|---|---|
namerequired | string | Image name (nginx for an official image, or namespace/name) or a hub.docker.com link. Example: nginx |
vulnerabilities | boolean | true adds vulnerability counts per latest tag and a vulnerabilities summary (may cost more). |
Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).
Example
curl "https://api.api.sh/dockerhub/v1/repository?name=nginx" \
-H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY" import os, requests
res = requests.get(
"https://api.api.sh/dockerhub/v1/repository",
params={"name": "nginx"},
headers={"x-api-key": os.environ["APISH_KEY"]},
timeout=120,
)
res.raise_for_status()
data = res.json() const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/dockerhub/v1/repository");
url.searchParams.set("name", "nginx");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`${res.status} ${await res.text()}`);
const data = await res.json(); Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
