Coinbase trading pairs
Every trading pair on Coinbase Exchange with its status, base and quote currency, price and size increments, minimum order funds and trading flags (post-only, limit-only, cancel-only, auction mode, margin). Filter by quote or base currency, status or part of the pair id. With currency, the response also carries a currency object for that asset: name, type, symbol, status, minimum size and precision, withdrawal limits, confirmations, default network and every supported network (status, contract address, withdrawal limits, confirmations, explorer links).
Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.
Parameters
| name | type | description |
|---|---|---|
quote | string | Only pairs quoted in this currency (USD, USDC, EUR, GBP, BTC ...). Example: USD |
base | string | Only pairs of this base currency (BTC, ETH ...). |
status | online | delisted | all | online (default), delisted or all. Example: online |
q | string | Only pair ids containing this text. |
currency | string | Also return this asset's details (BTC, ETH, USDC, USD ...) in currency: name, precision, networks, withdrawal limits and status. Unknown codes answer 404. |
Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).
Example
curl "https://api.api.sh/coinbase/v1/products?quote=USD" \
-H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY" import os, requests
res = requests.get(
"https://api.api.sh/coinbase/v1/products",
params={"quote": "USD"},
headers={"x-api-key": os.environ["APISH_KEY"]},
timeout=120,
)
res.raise_for_status()
data = res.json() const url = new URL("https://api.api.sh/coinbase/v1/products");
url.searchParams.set("quote", "USD");
const res = await fetch(url, { headers: { "x-api-key": process.env.APISH_KEY } });
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`${res.status} ${await res.text()}`);
const data = await res.json(); Response
A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
