One study from ClinicalTrials.gov by NCT id: titles, status and dates, sponsor and collaborators, summaries and detailed description, design (allocation, model, purpose, masking), arms and interventions, primary and secondary outcomes, eligibility criteria (sex, ages, healthy volunteers), responsible party, oversight, officials (name, affiliation, role), every location with coordinates, references, links, IPD sharing, MeSH terms and documents. include_results=true adds the posted results (participant flow, baseline, outcome measures, adverse events). Contact persons' phone numbers and e-mails are not included.

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).
