Chrome Web Store search

GET https://api.api.sh/chrome-web-store/v1/search
1 credit / call search & seo try it in the playground →

Pass next_cursor back as cursor for the next page; null on the last page. The store's own filters narrow the results: type (extensions or themes), min_rating (the store compares its rounded rating, so 3.9 counts as 4) and featured; a filtered search returns the store's first page (next_cursor null) and echoes the applied filters.

Every response includes credits_used: the credits this call cost.

Parameters

nametypedescription
qrequired string Search words. Example: ad blocker
hl string Language (default en).
limit integer Results per page (1-100, default 10).
cursor string next_cursor from the previous page.
type extension | theme Only extensions or only themes.
min_rating integer Minimum store rating (1-5).
featured boolean true: only items with the store's Featured badge.

Every endpoint also takes fresh, raw, fields (see lean responses and caching).

Example

curl "https://api.api.sh/chrome-web-store/v1/search?q=ad+blocker" \
  -H "x-api-key: $APISH_KEY"

Response

A JSON object with the fields described above, plus raw (the source's own data), cached, fetched_at and credits_used. Errors return {"success": false, "error": "…"} with the HTTP status (see errors). A lookup that ran but found nothing (404) costs the price above; refused calls and errors on our side are free (what's charged).

The fastest way to see the full response is the playground: it runs this endpoint with your account and shows the exact JSON.
