The API.SH Ko-fi API turns public Ko-fi creator pages into structured JSON. Look up a creator by username to get name, avatar, cover, supporters or members count, coffees received, about text and its links, category tags, badges such as Gold, the sections the page offers and membership tiers. Opt in to shop items and commission items for name, price, pay-what-you-want and sold-out flags, discount, number sold, description, image and link. Supporters' names are never returned.

API.SH vs the official Ko-fi API

Ko-fi offers webhooks and app integrations that notify a creator about payments to their own page, set up with a verification token in their Ko-fi settings. There is no public API for reading other creators' pages. API.SH returns public creator page data as JSON with no Ko-fi account.

Instead of browser automation or a custom scraper for Ko-fi pages, API.SH gives one key, one JSON shape across many creator platforms and a fixed price per call.

What Ko-fi data can I get?+

One creator page (/kofi/v1/creator): name, avatar, supporters or members count, coffees received, about text and links, tags, badges, sections, membership tiers and, with include, shop and commission items.

How much does the Ko-fi API cost?+

Every Ko-fi endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.

Is there a free trial?+

Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /kofi/v1/creator at 1 credit each.

Is there an official Ko-fi API?+

Ko-fi has webhooks for your own page's payments (donations, memberships, shop orders) that tools like Streamer.bot and Zapier use. It does not offer an API for reading public creator pages, which API.SH covers.

Do I need a Ko-fi API key or account?+

No. You use your API.SH key. Ko-fi's verification token is only for webhooks on your own page and is not needed here.

Does it return supporter names or payments?+

No. API.SH reads public page data only. Supporters' names and payment details are not returned.

Can I use the Ko-fi API from Python?+

Yes. Call /kofi/v1/creator with any HTTP client or the Python SDK and get JSON back.
