Why API.SH for Jumia data
- Public data only: no Jumia login, cookies or account needed

- Built and maintained by API.SH, not third-party publishers
- Pay per call; errors on our side cost nothing
- Live status for every endpoint
API.SH vs the official Jumia API
Jumia's APIs are for its own partners: the Seller Center (Vendor Center) API lets registered sellers manage products and orders, and JumiaPay APIs handle payments. There is no open API for public product, price or review data. API.SH returns that public data as JSON without a seller account.
Instead of writing a Jumia scraper in Python or buying a RapidAPI pricing endpoint per country, API.SH covers every Jumia market with one key and a fixed price per call.
Jumia API questions
What Jumia data can I get?+
Search and category listings with filters (/jumia/v1/search), one product with price, discount, stock, delivery, seller, variations and specifications (/jumia/v1/product), and verified ratings and reviews (/jumia/v1/reviews).
How much does the Jumia API cost?+
Every Jumia endpoint costs 1 credit per call. On a monthly plan 1,000 credits cost $1 (Starter is $50/month for 50,000 credits). Pay-as-you-go is $2 per 1,000 credits, with top-ups from $15 that never expire.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every account gets 1,000 free credits every month. That is 1,000 calls to /jumia/v1/product at 1 credit each.
Is there an official Jumia API?+
Jumia has a Seller Center API for registered vendors to manage their own listings and orders, and JumiaPay payment APIs. Neither gives open access to public product data, which is what API.SH returns.
Do I need a Jumia account or login?+
No. API.SH reads public Jumia pages only. No endpoint uses a login, cookies or anyone's account.
Which Jumia countries are covered?+
Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, Senegal, Tunisia and Algeria. Set the country parameter on search and reviews; product calls take the product URL.
Can I check a Jumia seller's performance?+
Yes. The product route returns the seller with followers and performance, and search can filter by minimum seller score.
How do I get started?+
1. Sign up at api.sh. 2. Copy your API key. 3. Call /jumia/v1/search with q and country, then open a result with /jumia/v1/product. Every parameter and request example is in the docs at https://api.sh/docs. You can also use the JS or Python SDK, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or the MCP server at https://api.sh/mcp.
